General admission requirements
General admission requirements: Requiered are 60 C in Humanities, Social Studies, Economics or Computer Science including 21 C in Digital Humanities, Computer Philology, Digital Archeology or subjects related to that areas.
Specific language requirements: Demonstration of sufficient English language skills on the level B2 by earning theminimum required grade on an internationally recognized test:
a) UNIcert®: mind. Zertifikat UNIcert® II; b) NULTE-Zertifikate: mind. Niveau B2; c) Cambridge English Scale: mind. 160 Punkte; d) „International English Language Testing System" (IELTS Academic): mind. Band 5.5; e) „Test of English as a Foreign Language, internet-based test” (TOEFL iBT): mind. 81 Punkte; f) Global Scale of English (Pearson Academic): mind. 59 Punkte.
As a rule, the last test must have been taken no more than three years prior to submission of the application for admission to the Master's degree programme (date received). Applicants who have spent at least one year studying or working in an English-speaking country are exempt from this requirement. Moreover, exemptions apply to applicants who have successfully completed a BA programme (minmum two yeards) that is taught in English (proof required).
